First nice evening for this that we've had in the Chicago area for years! And the kids have been out in force. I was afraid we had overbought on candy, but it now seems we have gotten just enough!
I just moved out to the suburbs and was expecting a lot since there are children all around (two elementry schools within a 1/2 mile). Where are they? Maybe the fundies have brainwashed people not to take their kids out on Sunday. Bummer! I bought loads of candy!
3. I'm really surprised some places are doing trick or treating
on a Sunday. Not That I see anything wrong with it, I just thought we were a more religious country than that. We had our beggars night last night and unfortunately I had to work so I didn't get to pass out candy.
Clear and crisp and I can't wait for my first trick-or-treaters. I lived in a doorman building for 12 years that didn't allow anyone to trick-or-treat (Ebeneezer Scrooge was our association president, I think), so this will be lots of fun for me. :D
