3. McCombs wants to sell 'em...
And there is always talk of them moving there...if McCombs could have his way they would be gone...not sure the league would allow it but I hope they do!!!

8. McCombs better sell them quick...not much value
By the way, the league will never let them go to L.A. Every team in the league will benefit far more by selling a new franchise to L.A. They won't give up that gold mine for Red McCombs.

By the way: Tice gave Bush the Vikings #1 jersey yesterday, thereby accepting the Curse of the Bush*

Curse of the Bush*: everything Bush touches turns to shit!

2. If they go to LA only 9,000 fans will show up for the games.
There are more things to do on a sunday in LA.

4. Take heart
First, Tice put the "Curse of the Bushbino" on them by introducing dipshit at his rally yesterday. You'll notice the Chiefs are walloping the Colts today - well, the curse left them and it's on us now.

Second, all us Viking Democrats have used up our mojo having to root for the Packers today so as to fulfill the decades-long Redskins coincidence.

The football gods, seeing that we cheered for our dreaded rivals, are making us pay.

9. I agree with you
We have to root for the Packers (hell has frozen over!). Plus the Vikes defense kind of sucks anyway so it was bound to catch up with them no matter who they played (but the Giants really seem to have their number). It is only one game. We shouldn't write them off yet.

10. Hey, at least they just scored!
Won't be another blowout shutout to the Gnats - just a blowout. :eyes: We'll see how they come out in the next two weeks, at Indy and at GB, before I write them off.

6. Yes
The Vikings specialize in disappointing the fans. This one game is not really a good example, since nearly every team has an off day. However, the Vikings are specialists in disappointment and choking. They do it every year. They build up expectations, then blow it. But far worse, Mike Tice endorsed Bush yesterday. The Vikings deserve a huge, huge loss, and a losing season. Go away, Vikings, please, please go away.

7. Tice didn't endorse Bush
Hail to the Chief -- and we're not talking about those guys from Kansas City.

Vikings coach Mike Tice will introduce President Bush during a Saturday afternoon rally at the Target Center, Vikings public affairs consultant Lester Bagley confirmed Thursday. Afterward, Tice will present Bush with a Vikings jersey.

Tice said he has not decided whether he will vote for Bush or Sen. John Kerry next week. But Tice added, "Introducing the president of the United States is a great honor for anyone."
