Okay, they tried to charge me $25.00 for a pumpkin

Yes, the church was having a pumpkin sale, I stopped by to pick a few up, brough one medium sized one up to the counter and they tried to charge me $25.00.

When I said, "That seems like a lot for a pumpkin," I was told in wounded tones, "But it's for the church!"

I didn't buy it. Am I wrong? That seems like an outrageous price to me.

Now I'm looking up how to grow my own pumpkins for next year. Atlantic Giants sound good. Gotta get some seeds and start them indoors for next year.
