7. Well...

when I was in high school I was on the tennis team (this was 2 years ago), and the football team was our unofficial enemy. They got the best of everything and we got nothing at all. We had to do our own court maintainence (buy the paint, do the work ourselves, pull the weeds, sand the bleachers) and fundraising. Every time something nice came our way the football team would come and steal it at night. We weren't the best of friends. On the other hand, in springtime we got to watch the girls' matches without anyone getting suspicious. I say this because our girls team had lots of hot players (I'm not talking about the level of play!) and they attracted their share of fans from amongst the other students ;)

So, if you aren't all crazy about high school football, go watch the guys tennis team (if they play in the fall as well in your state). They'd sure appreciate it!

I wanted to post something about this last night, but I couldn't come up with a good enough thread title. Yours is perfect. Surely, you're playing on the freeper DELUSION that the reason "Kerry polls better on Friday night," is because "all Republicans are out at the high school football games."

I've also heard that Kerry polls better on weekends because Republicans (god, I can hardly say this without dying laughing) are outside polishing their SUVs, RVs and boats.
