Monday, I start my new job..

...after more than a decasde of getting uo before dawn, and bustin my ass for da man, he calls me in a week ago and tells me in effect he can hire somebody to do my job for half, so it's "see ya!" Understand they spent more on coffee every year than they did on me...

I got a decent severance, but big deal. I told him when the first round of job cuts cam, he could fire me, but go across the street and kick his ass. Two days later, I went across the street and tomorrow I start kicking his ass!

Here's where the DU irony comes in. I am morning news anchor for the vilest, meanest, dumbest right wing talker in the city!

Perhaps God has chosen me to save the heathens...

Although you might feel the urge to spread the liberal message right away, especially with the election, I'd scope out the situation first. Get them to trust you first and then start spreading the message a little bit at a time, carefully gauging their reaction.
