3. Man that's funny
I wouldn't last 5 minutes there. I like how on the dress code pages the men have actual humans for the photos but the women have mannequins.

4. I'm not sure that I understand the question
but I had a friend in high school who was forced to go to Pensacola Christian College. They had a set of very Bob Jones-esque rules... I remember that he left the campus and called me from a pay phone to tell me all of the crazy shite he had to go through (late night "hair length" checks, no listening to anything but gospel music, no playing cards, crazy dress codes, blahblahblah ;-)). Scary stuff, but he saved up enough money to go to school without parental assistance (they forced him to go to PCC) and transferred after a year and a half.

8. i worked with a kid
who went to a christian high school..dumb as a box of rocks, scared to death of the outside world and a neo-nazi,who couldn`t get second dates because he had a huge nazi flag in his living room. his parents put him there because there were to many "coloured people" in the public schools. dam, you got to love those fundy christian schools

9. Don't forget the fundie indoctrination...
...that occur in these high schools and colleges. Case in point: When I was in tech school, I was doing volunteer work for school credit as an assistant for a graphic arts teacher at a fundie Catholic school in Victoria, MN (Holy Family Catholic). And I witnessed fundamentalist indocrination that could probably be compared to that of those Wahabi schools that are popping up in Saudi Arabia. I didn't DARE to tell any of them that I was Muslim, especially since it was right after 9-11. And the hatred expressed towards Muslims among a good part of those students was a real sad thing for me to witness. Needless to say, I never set foot in that school ever again after I got my credit.

11. They have "moderated"
Women can actually wear pants at Liberty under some circumstances, unlike at Bob Jones. Good for Liberty U.! They have now entered into the 1950's! Bob Jones U. is still in the 1890's.
