There is Patrick McGoohans character in "Secret Agent" who wore black.
Also, in "The Prisoner" he has no name, only referd to as "The Man In Black"...

There is Neo in "The Matrix"; "Ghost Dog"... and of course Johnny Cash...

I have noticed that my main heros wear all black... Anyone else think of other examples?

... The movie "Men In Black" doesn't really count 'cus they wore white shirts...

I saw him in person once, when I was a kid. He was the grandstand act at the Alabama State Fair in Birmingham. I was riding the bus to the fairgrounds and we made a stop in mid-town. He got on the bus to ride out for his afternoon performance. Black outfit, hat, whip and six-guns. No limo, not even a cab, just riding on the city bus like a regular prole.
