Wait what this....EDMONDS STEPPED OUT OF THE BATTERS BOX AND IS POINTING TO THE CENTER FIELD BLEACHERS, HE CAN'T SERIOUSLY BE TRYING TO PULL OFF A BABE RUTH CALLED SHOT...now he's in batter box...CRACK...ITS A HIGH DEEP DRIVE TO CENTERFIELD OUT WHERE EDMONDS WAS POINTING..BACK...BACK ..BACK...ITS GONE!!!! CARDS TAKE THE LEAD!!!
cut to bottom of the 9th....Sox have the bases loaded and no outs,this is the most amazing series I've ever witnessed...just a single will win it for the Sox and end their long suffering. Hard grounder to the pitcher he comes home with it now to first double play. So the Sox have runners on 2nd and 3rd and two outs with Charley Manson coming to the...I mean Johnny Demon...I mean Johnny Damon coming to the plate...heres the first pitch..crack its a high deep drive to left centerfield back goes Edmonds but I don't think he will get this one...IT GONE SOX WIN..SOX WIN...later the celebration in the clubhouse comes crashing down...the Cards challenged that Damon never touched 2nd they appealed to the umpire and Damon is out Sox lose again.
