5. Nothing could overshadow ...
the stunning 3-0 comeback victory in the ALCS ....
Except for losing the same thing in the World Series.

It's gonna happen, and will represent a biggest slap in face from the Curse of the Bambino.

Cheers
Drifter

8. I Won't Believe Until the Sox Record the Final Out
I have been a Sox fan since I was 8 years old. I remember obscure players like my dad's friend, Jim Pagliaroni.

I went to every game in 1962, when I was 10 years old. 81 games at home, and 5 games away.

I was at the first game of the World Series when Gibson beat Santiago 2-1.

I went to about 15 games in 1975.

I was at the Bucky Dent game in 1978.

I was at a bar in Florida when Buckner missed that grounder.

I cried like a baby last year when that nit-wit Grady Little left Martinez in to lose that game in New York.

My uncles talked all the time about the heart breaks of 1946, 1948, and 1949.

I will not count on anything until the final out.
