1. Damn I hate living in a one-party state - I wanna go back to America

Don't let Tom DeLay's minions do this to YOUR state!

There were 49 races on my precinct's ballot.

My ground rules:
- I do not vote in uncontested races.
- I do not consider 'Libertarian' a viable contestant.

Therefore, out of 49 possible votes on the ballot, I voted in only 10 races (20%) - those where there was a Democrat running.

And I did double check to make sure my e-slate :eyes: displayed MY choices before I hit the 'VOTE' button. Man do I hate those machines.

My one regret is that I can't vote in District 22 to get DeLay the hell out of my government.

He's really trashed the place, hasn't he?

When I went to the libraray this past Sunday I could hardly find a parking spot with all the people voting early. It was nice, but I couldn't help worrying about those stupid machines, which burned us in 2002.

If he is...I hope that a majority of people there will vote that MF'er OUT!

Kerry winning and Tom DeLay losing would be perfect...along with Barack Obama winning (well, DUH) and Katherine Harris losing. :-)

...so I could vote against his ass.

My new DeLay-approved 're-district' did not even have a Democrat running. THERE'S Democracy, Bush-style!

7. What Karl Rove has wrought...it's too damn depressing for words.

DeLay is a Rove created creature.

It would be so great for you guys to get back to the Texas of Ann Richards and Jim Hightower. I lived in your state for a couple of years...in Dallas from 1984 -1986. You have some nice, friendly people down there. You don't deserve the government you have down there. :-(

...30 machines, all busy. Several Kerry stickers in the parking lot (along with mine and my DU.com sticker :thumbsup:
