I have beaten everyone but Washington and Jefferson on the hardest level -- but I have to admit, the game is more cheesy and arbitrary than anything else.
4. Not if the $$ is any sum greater than $1: I'd buy THAT for a dollah!
Played the game on a friend's machine for about 15 minutes. At best, it seems like a fun little novelty item. See how much of a heartless bumblefuck you can be and still get into the oval office. Works in real politics.
So I got a refund. Basically every time I start the game I get these black lines that go across the screen, then it's REALLY slow and finally images that should disappear basically don't...so the screen becomes very cluttered (like if something pops up on the screen when I try and close out of the window it'll merge with the electoral map, making it unreadable).
Bleh.
So I went and got Power Politics III -- which is pretty decent.
