1. Your Question
Just inspired a new set of bumper stickers.

1st sticker

Think God, Think Peace

2nd sticker

Think Bush, Think War

For best effect, these should be displayed together.

3. #1 is a biased fantasy, #2 is a flat out fact
#1 in detail: Depends on your point of view; does every single religion speak of the same "God" or their own version of "God"?

But you're right; combining both does make for a very sharp and striking statement.

4. Anything That Brings Cement Head
to his knees is a good thing to me.

I only refer to God because the Christian version, at least, is supposed to be about love and mercy. Both conditions are a hell of a lot more peaceful than any war will ever be.

2. I haven't had a reaction to mine yet.
Maybe because it's too subtle. Ya see, it's got yer flags, it's got yer bunting and what-not, a veritable red, white, and blue, "stand up and salute" wonder. The slogan says
God Save America
From Bush

I've been driving around Texas with it. Maybe they just look at the pictures.

5. "The Road to Hell is Paved with Republicans"

I get a thumbs up, smile, honk, or wave
nearly every day.

Course I've been road raged too, so . . but
not nearly, nearly as often.

6. Who Would Jesus Bomb?
For those who "get it," i get the thumbs up, the honk (the light, double-tap honk as opposed to the lean-on-the horn).

For those who don't get it, I still get approval... a co-worker of mine said he agreed that Jesus probably would bomb Iraq.

10. I miss my pick-up.
I just got a new car and do not want to put any stickers on it yet.

So I'll just drop in the sticker I saw on someone else's car last week. "Bush for Ex-President in 2004" I gave the guy a friendly horn toot and a thumbs up on that one.

11. Isis! Isis! Ra! Ra! Ra!
Mostly just earns me puzzled looks, except from my fellow Pagans.

"Buckle Up: It Keeps the Aliens from Sucking You Out of Your Car", and "Only You Can Prevent Narcissism" always got laughs.

I had to take off all the other bumper stickers when I put on the "Kucinich for President" one. Don't want to give the impression that Dennis' supporters are a bunch of flakes.

A great source for bumperstickers - both Progressive and just plain weird - is Northern Sun. You can go to their web-site and request a catalog. I really want the T-Shirt with the Dalai Lama's Birthday Party!

BUSH
LLIT

A lot of people don't get it that fast, although I did see a conservative (I passed her car previously and noted the Bush/Cheney 2004 etc stickers) got a laugh out of it.

13. Got beeped by a carload of college kids (we both had Dean stickers)
...no response yet to my other bumper sticker (God was my copilot, but we crashed in the mountains and I had to eat him). Ah well....
