Ok, so the freepers have a higher traffic rank than us, but then again they have five years and 3 times as many members as we do - that is an advantage.

But in the 2+ years we've existed we have almost 30,000 members and our traffic is moving way up whereas FR seems to be on a downward trend.

Now I could be reading this information wrong, but it seems like we are the little folks, but we're getting bigger every day!

This website is home to the leftist fringe of American(term used loosely) politics. They are pretty much a safe haven for angry athiests and communist disidents. The average democrat would be far to the right of any poster at this website. While people will have different opinions of the workings of the government, these people should just call the site what it is. Socialistunderground.com. They have nothing in common with democrats.

This is not a website for Democrats. It is a website for the far left whackos that populate the fringe of Democratic party. Not only do they spew forth the most venomous hatred of anyone who is to the right of Karl Marx but even some of the most liberal members of the Democratic Party are berated for not being liberal enough. I was banned after one post for saying that the Democrats in the Senate should not filibuster judicial nominees. Before one of the forum Gestapo nuked my account the regulars on this site must have destroyed their “F” keys by typing a certain four letter word over and over.

I can't say how pleased I am with this web site. Without it, I would have to go to the library to learn more about great thinkers like Karl Marx, Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Chairman Mao and all the other great communists in history. If not for DU keeping communism alive, the world would be a much darker place.

Whoaaa...this is considered a site for activists? Cripes, the people that post there are *insane*. The crazy viewpoints and so called facts that these fools swear by would get you committed to a mental health facility if you mentioned them to an emergency room doctor. We have fewer members but 3 times as many visits. That is GREAT! Shows there is substance to DU, versus a conservative circle jerk at Free REpub.

If you rank by page views, DU is 2,246 (3 month average). Means that when we come here, we stick around for awhile.

And, yes, the trends are still upwards.

5. I have a hard time putting faith in these numbers.

It looked up a few of the web sites I host and it said there was a 600% increase in page views over 3 months, which I know is total BS.
