Stupid question how do I post pics on this?
It won't let me copy, paste, and it said when I was checking you have to copy from an online source.

Heh, I am doing pretty good for middle age mom but I just have dial up.

It seems whenever I think I have computer stuff down something easy stops me!

1. you need to get the picture "hosted" on the internet
Edited on Sat Oct-23-04 06:18 PM by SheepyMcSheepster
get an account here http://www.photobucket.com/

it is a free picture hosting, you will upload your picture to their site and then you will be able to post the picture here by providing the address to the picture from the photobucket site.

edit: hmm, it looks like photobucket has stopped accepting new members for a bit while they do maintanience.

2. Its pretty easy...
1. Find someplace to store the picture online. Try www.photodump.com
2. Upload the photo (they tell you how)
3. Find the link where the photo can be found (they tell you that, too)
4. Past it (the link) into your message

4. You have to host the image on the internet first
I'm not the perfect person to explain this, but I copy an image to my computer, then host it using "ImageShack". There are others who can explain better.

You can follow the directions from there.

7. The picture has to be on a web page somewhere
There are instructions on this site but if you are not using online content you have to get it put online
If it is online, this is the method I use:

right click on the picture
go to properties
copy the url (left click and drag to select, right click to copy)
paste the url in the DU message window.
