Jethro Tull was great. Especially Aqualung.

15. He does new age crap?
I'm glad I haven't heard it, then.

I thought the 'was' meant he died and I hadn't noticed.

10. Used to love him
and went to several of the Jethro Tull concerts and loved them. I have not listened much in the last 10-15 years. I still love all the old stuff.

14. I know all his music
but can't say for sure if I like him. My brother played so much Tull during my formative years, I can't tell if I would have liked it if I found Ian on my own. I taught myself calligraphy off the Aqualung album cover. The first time I got high was at the "A" tour. It convinced me to give up violin cause that tour proved rock violin could never be cool.

17. Andy Partridge from XTC tells a great Ian Anderson story...
They were recording "Drums and Wires", and Anderson was in the same building recording something else. He apparently heard XTC's New Wave sound, and didn't like it one bit.

Anderson stormed into the studio wearing a full-length cloak with a hood, and waving a walking staff around while ranting at Partridge et al. They thought it was "the return of Gandalf".
