2. You have the best NFL football team and that's it.
Edited on Wed Oct-20-04 11:44 AM by trumad
You're colleges suck in football, your Basketball team sucks, your Hockey team sucks, Your baseball team hasn't won the World Series since 1918.... and in another two months it will be 50 below zero...

Other than that you do have good Lobster.

9.  Our colleges educate,though.
And as far as pro sports go,2 out of 4 ain't bad.

PS. Don't forget college hockey---we do great at that.

Are you saying the Sox are one of the two? When did they last win the World Series?

Oh, yeah...1918.

the most corrupt archdiocese in the Catholic Church, which is saying a lot.

But the leaves are pretty.

11. Oh, I love the Boston accent!
I'm an East Coast person and I think Boston is the best of the bunch, accent-wise. It's so distinctive and cool! "Wicked smaht!" LOL!

And Boston is a beautiful city with nice people and great change of seasons. From a Philadelphia girl, here's to Boston! :toast:

All those bad drivers come here from out of state!!!!
You New Yorkers are just jealous that we Vermonters get all the tourist dollars.
And we have great politicians too. You got Gov. P. :puke:

But you're forgiven.

13. I just got back
was visiting my husbands relatives in New York state, Connecticut and New Jersey. I had never been and was so amazed at how beautiful it was and I can imagine that now it is even more beautiful than it was last week. One funny thing, coming from the red state of Kansas I have not understood why everyone was so worried about Bush*. I have seen maybe 2 Bush* yard signs and only a few bumper stickers until we drove through New York state. DAMN, it was scary so I now understand. You live in a beautiful part of the country even if it is now plastered with evil signs.

15. I lived in New Brunswick - which is pretty well New England
Geogrpahy wise - and I gotta say it was great in the Fall. Not for the typical "changin' leaves" reason. There was an aura of romance, not in a love way, that seemed to be everywhere there at that time of year.

25. New England
See, I come from Boston.
I'm gonna tell you about how I love New England.
It's my favorite place.
I've been all around the world, but I love New England best.
I might be prejudiced.
But it's true, I love New England best.

Well, now...

You know, ladies and gentlemen, I've already been to Paris, I already been to Rome
And what did I do but miss my home?
I have been out west to Californ'.
But I miss the land where I was born.
I can't help it.
Dum-de-dum-de-dum-dum-da-dum-day
Oh, New England.
Dum-de-dum-de-dum-dum-da-dum-day
Oh, New England.

I have seen old Israel's arid plain.
It's magnificent, but so's Maine.
Dum-de-dum-de-dum-dum-da-dum-day
Oh, New England.
Dum-de-dum-de-dum-dum-da-dum-day
Oh, New England.

Doddly-doodly-do-do-doo-do-do
Doddly-doodly-do-do-doo-do-do
Doddly-doodly-do-do-doo-do-do
Doddly-doodly-do-do-doo-do-do Dum-de-dum-de-dum-dum-da-dum-day
Oh, I love New England.
Dum-de-dum-de-dum-dum-da-dum-day
Oh, New England.

Dum-de-dum-de-dum-dum-da-dum-day
Oh, New England.
Dum-de-dum-de-dum-dum-da-dum-day
Oh, New England.
Dum-de-dum-de-dum-dum-da-dum-day
