My opinion is that I would rather have a liberal. Allowing every other aspect is equal. I believe liberals tend think situations out and put off confrontation. But if confrontation is iminent, I personally believe that once someone has exhausted all other means they would battle with more conviction. Whereas a conservitive usally accomplishes their goals by bullying the opponet. This sometimes is effective until someone bucks the bully. Then if your resolve is not true you are usally subjected to failure.
I relate this to the position we are now in Iraq. We had backed our opponet in a corner in Iraq. They are now fighting with more conviction than we are. The bully showed his hand and the opponet still stands.
With new liberal leadership and a new world resolve, where we have a true coalition the war in Iraq and the war on terror will be won. Look at history liberals win wars and conservitives lose them. I feel it is because when all is said and done liberals are more committed to their beliefs than conservitives. In a nut shell conservitives talk the talk and liberals walk the walk!
.....the two greatest wars in the history of the world, were fought and won by argueably the two most Liberal Presidents in the history of this country, Wilson and Roosevelt. :kick:
