Creepy! A carjacking unfolds in front of my house!

There are about 20 police cars in front of my house. I nearly had heart failure thinking it was because of all my DU activities. NOT FUNNY! Turns out I am not tonight's target but instead two people who jumped from the car and tried to flee. The car hit something or someone else. Glad they didn't come into my house through the front door.

Wow. Enough excitement already.

It's all over, folks.

I, however, have never felt such a wave of fear stream over me as I felt seeing the police converge in front of the house. Is that a physical reaction to living for the last 3 years under a Bush* Police State?

17 squad cars and 4 motorcycle cops. What a show of force. I thought they'd found Saddam's WMD in my front yard or something. Glad they weren't coming for me. This time.

2. That's scary, Genetic Other -

I had an experience once where a bank robber hid in a ground floor apartment where I was living (2nd floor). Couldn't get out of the parking area, hubby was late going back to work from lunch........

Whew! My first thought was, "what did I do??" (Us libruls gotta wonder that, right?)
