Before I Leave For The Weekend, I Just Wanted To Complain
My MS flared up this week. Hobbling around like an old man, am i. I needed to use a cane for 3 days, and probably should have it with me today, except using it started hurting my hand.

Got a burning and electric shock feeling (like 1000 degrees and 10,000 volts) from the knees down. And my hips feel like they're wrapped tightly in barbed wire.

On top of all that, i keep getting this little painful itch spots on the back of my right hand, left elbow, and left knee. Just for an instant, but it feels like a bee sting or something.

Five days in a row, now!

I know this is a buzzkill. But, i feel better, now.

2. You are Not Alone
A family member of mine has MS. She uses a walker. It's such a cruel disease. It's with us all the time, as I'm sure it is with you.

Some Fundies and Pubs we know have told her she has MS because she's not a good enough Christian. (She's a lifelong Congregationalist.)

This is one of the many reasons I cannot talk to such people about politics.

8. Well, I Don't Use A Walker. And. . .
. . .if one of them said that to me, i'd turn them into part of the pavement. I'd take the assault rap. Who's going to convict a MS patient because someone castigated him for his disease? I'd take my chances. With the pain i'm in right now, i would not be able to take that kind of abuse.

3. In this instance...
join the crowd of at least 2 of us... you and me... spinal disc deterioration gives me much of the same 24/7...
Hold tight... it's a bumpy road, but we WILL get through it.

This is just a highly painful week. I just wanted to vent in public.

15. TOTALLY understand....
hope it helped. If I thought it would help me, I would moan a little, too heheheh... I had a laminectomy 8 years ago and it did zilch... deterioration continues and...er... I have actually gotten shorter!! Yep, was 5'11" for many years -- now, after almost 10 years of this, I am 5'8 1/2"!!!! Doc says that is "normal" as the spine deteriorates! Grrrrrrrrrrrr.... (guess I better be glad it was not a penile problem!!! Can't afford to lose much there!)

Okay... it's a joke for all who will be mad at me for quipping. (but...er.. it IS true!) LOL

11. Nope. Sorry
This model doesn't have all the hand sculpted contours. It's pointy enough, but not smooth enough on the sides. Too thick, too. Plus it has a Wizard II neck. Too flat.

I'm really, really picky about my pointy guitars. But, thanks for thinkin' 'bout me.

20. Well, I understand the complaining part now...
Sounds like me when hurricane Ivan came through. My knee and my neck flared up so bad I could barely walk or turn my head.
Is there anything you can do to relieve it?
