I'm still trying to pay for my girl's education. Just keeps getting worse and worse. I'm worried about this winter's budjet.

17. My guess is that I'll pay $225-250 a month for natural gas for the house.
I can count on it from October to March, April will be a bit less.

our apartment is always so hot, even in the winter. We hardly ever have to turn the heat on. Guess that's the plus side to being in a walk up.

for about 2 weeks. Also, I believe our August was the coldest August in history. Couldn't even use our swimming pool.

19. Have put it on for an hour or so in the morning
and that's it. We keep the house cool anyhow. Dress warm enough--into the turtle necks now and sweaters. Big cozy comforter and flannel sheets at night. I expect an Indian summer in the next few days. Still have lettuce in the garden and Chard.

and I've turned mine on. I think our nights are hitting the 40's... Pulled out my blanket too... This weekend, I pull out the turtlenecks. I have to face reality - t-shirts aren't warm enough any more.

33. Our days are hitting the 40s
here in KS ... I still haven't turned the heat on though. Hubby walks around in shorts and complains that it's too cold. He can put some pants on! I'm waiting until I absolutely have to to turn on the heat. Luckily our place seems to hold heat VERY well. It's been about 71 or so in my house without the heat. I'm going to take advantage of it while I can before my gas bill flies through the roof this winter. :hi:

25. A couple of mornings in the bathroom,
otherwise no. We have been having some gorgeous weather up here in Montreal. And the leaves are beautiful. Although I can tell that it is getting colder because the cats come in during the night and snuggle up to me.

It was 80 degrees here yesterday. Nights are cool but not as chilly as about a month ago. I guess we're in full Indian Summer mode here

We had some really chilly mornings here in Seattle. Then again, yesterday was quite warm and beautiful. So, you never know. The trick is to layer your clothing. :D
