and this is Arizona! Of course I am up in the mountains but sheesh! I guess Labor day really does mark the end of summer. I can't believe I'll be turning on the heat soon! I was using the A/C just last week! It's ok, I love crisp fall mornings but it was just so sudden.

How 'bout you? Still having summer like weather, or is it more like fall now?

1. I just have to laugh...45?!?!
I, uh, er...let's say we're going be BELOW 90 as a high for a few days this weekend. Woohoo! Break out the parkas!

Notice: cold front, high of 85. :eyes:

2. 74 as a high today here

It'll remind me of home - San Diego - where it's eternally 74 ;-) . Well, that is one of the reasons I left. Who wants perfect weather ALL the time. I like to feel the changing seasons.

Oh - it's 54 now :-).

Morning David :hi:

3. We have seasons here.
2 days of winter
2 weeks to a month of spring and fall
HOT AS HELL the rest of the time.

OK, that's a slight exaggeration.

:hi: Sue!

4. 36 degrees here this morning
Brrr! I'm not using to it being cold before November! The difference 2500 feet in altitude can make.

:hi: Sioux! Thanks for the cool CDs!

5. Yeah.
There's nothing like fall in Sedona. *sigh* The long shadows from the rock formations, the perfect weather, the blindingly blue skies! I'm gonna have to go over for a hike this fall I think. I sure miss it at certain times of year.

Flag is nice in the fall too though. Lots of yellow Aspens! It's pretty great where I am as well.

You're welcome! Any time.

6. You're making me pine for Sedona & Flag.
It was beautiful in June when we were there. I can only imagine how splendid it must be up in northern AZ in the autumn.

Kinda humid here in Chicago this morning. Lots of dew and about 60. Today 84, cold front coming through tonight. Should get very fall-like before then end of the weekend.

Gawd I wish I was in the mountains right now.

8. Lol - "pine" for Sedona and Flag
good one! Next time you'll have to come over my way. We have plenty of pines and lots of lakes and mountains (though not as high as Flag's). It's also cooler than Sedona in the summer and warmer than Flag in the winter. :-)

Well, at least you have all that culture. I sometimes long for an art museum that has more than cowboy paintings ;-).

10. That's was inadvertant. A happy accident. Serendipity!!!
Pine is a recurring theme with me. My friends and I all had "camping nicknames", back in the day.

There was Mike Massive, Dan Panorama, Johnny Repello and Cliff Area, among others.

My name: Al Pine.
