7. Yes.
I saw the light when I realized I was gay and Freepers hated me. Then realized everything else about them was wrong, too.

Moderate conservative teenage Republican yes.

Ah, those were not the days.

I really don't know what made me see the light, it was a gradual progression brought on by education and various life experiences. It didn't happen all at once.

11. The closest I ever got was
getting all jealous when, in kindergarten, a friend's mom drove around with a bigass sign plastered to her car, advocating some Republican candidate or other.

14. When I was three, I had a shouting match with a neighbor kid
I yelled "I like Ike!!!" My dad was a rock solid Republican until Tricky Dick broke his heart. He must have been the source of my admiration for Ike.

When I first started internetting, I went to that site once. I can't remember if I actually signed up or not, but I read parts of two or three threads, and decided the people there were either insane, or pathological, so I never went back.

Plus I thought it was a pretty messy board, though I didn't have much experience with boatds, so didn't really know how badly disorganized it was.

20. Not really, but . . .
Re-registered Repub in late '79 or early '80 so I could vote for Howard Baker in the Florida primary. Thought he made alot of sense. IIRC Baker dropped out before the primary vote. Since it's confession time, will admit (reluctantly) that I voted for Raygun in '80. I was just so disappointed in Carter. Didn't vote in '84 or '88, then Clinton, Clinton, and Gore. And thanks for the amnesty.:)
