*EXTRA* Cat! Anyone need a cat?
Edited on Mon Oct-11-04 08:01 AM by underpants
Soft stupid me. This black/brown cat wonders up to our front porch on Friday night YAAAaawwWWing on and on so I feel sorry for it and fed it. I have done this before and the strays usually leave this one didn't.

We don't think this thing is feral or wild (lots of alley cats in our neighborhood). It has a pink flea collar on and is so loving that it has to be someone's cat. I went looking for missing cat fliers around the neighborhood but only found one trying to find two cats a home-the description pretty much matched but it didn't mention this cat's bright green eyes. I called the number yesterday but so far no return call. Hopefully someone took off for the weekend and will realize that their cat is missing. I am making up fliers today.

We already have two cats and the boy cat ("The General") is none too crazy about this new cat and actually snuck out on me and we almost had some kung-fu fightin' yesterday-we have never seen him that aggressive.

Great! Just great. We agreed to give it until tomorrow and then take it to the SPCA....we might wait a few more days.

3. I'd take it in a heartbeat, but you are too far away...
It sounds like our kitty Sweety, that sadly was killed at the tender age of two. :(

5. Google pet lost and found for your area and see what online services are
offered to post up about critters gone missing.

And if Craig's List services your city, post there as well, it's a great resource.

With a flea collar and his distinctive markings, chances are good he's somone's wandered pet.

11. He sounds cute and in need of a good home.
You might want to try and take him to a vet to see if he has an ID chip. I would take him off your hands if I lived close.
