Top 5 Beatle songs...so many, so many to choose from
and this past week was John Lennon's birthday..... so, inspired by the most recognized opening notes from songs thread, where immediately I thought of the guitar feedback of "I Feel Fine" and "A Hard Day's Night" (btw, it's a G7sus.)

1. Here Comes The Sun

2. & 3. (a toss up) Help or A Hard Day's Night

4. A Day In the Life

5. You've Got to Hide Your Love Away

have at it.

1. "if i fell" has got to make the list
not as big a "hit" as others, but amazing harmony and composition.
beatiful song. "hard day's night" is great, too, but there's more to a true masterpiece than a great riff and an infectious tempo.

2. Hm.
1) And Your Bird Can Sing
2) I'm Down (I love Little Richard rip-offs, hence my Sonics fixation)
3) Tomorrow Never Knows
4) She Said, She Said
5) Savoy Truffle

4. I know I can't pin it down to just five.
And any list I might make on one day wouldn't be the same the next day.

But here's an extended list for anyone else that might want to try to narrow it down......

8. I want you, (she's so heavy)

Either that or 'I am the walrus'. Their catalogue is nearly 500 songs, most of them great.
