(Yeah right wing maybe.)It astounds me that in this all, they can't see what he is doing to this country, to our armed forces and to our world standing. They can't see the lies he is telling...they only see that "Kerry had band-aide wounds in Vietnam" I have said it once and I will say it again, I don't care if he got wounded while Flinging paper-clips in an office in Siagon.... HE SIGNED UP TO GO, HE WAS THERE!!! Where was *? Hell no one knows. Where was Cheney? He wasn't in Nam. I guess this all boils down to one thing for me... JK served, HE did so without having to be drafted (and to freely Steal one of the BEST things I've ever heard come out of William Clinton's Mouth....) He said SEND ME!!! My Dad Did that too... I am a Proud Air Cav Brat! When John Came home and protested, He had the right, HE WAS THERE! :::In a Semi rapid Boil at this point::: They can't see the forest through the trees, and It is time they all wake up and smell the Mocha Nut Crunch! (sorry, that one is Denis Leary.)My Dad died when I was a little Girl... I have worked with Vets since... I walked up to one of my Patients that was in Nam... He had PTSD so bad it was unreal...I simply said his name and He hit the Ground... This man can't function in normal life, and they were talking about cutting his benefits... HUH???? WTF??? He served this country and you want to send him out in the shape he is in to fend for himself? Trust me, I didn't yell his name, I simply said it softly, and he hit the dirt and swiveled around so fast with closed fists I thought I was going to get nailed. I have since Lightened my hair, it is naturally almost black, and I have dark eyes... I wonder what the guy thought as he turned and saw someone that could potentially have been one of the enemies? Until I started saying "whoa *Bart*(not his name)Hun, It's me, I didn't mean to scare you, you're fine..." that he truly seemed to calm down... Very sad. We've got to keep fighting this fight, we have to get Kerry in office, and we have to get these guys help. Not to mention, any other nurses out there, JK has special legislation proposed for us... Go to his site and look through all his platforms....For me it may be all about him having served in Nam, for me it may be all about the fact that he is willing to help people in my profession, but in the end I know what this country needs and it is simply to plant a Bush back in Texas.
