who'da thunk? When I grew up there it was all Irish,& Italian Catholics and Jews. Now a Latin gay ghetto.

2. Jackson Heights..
kinda reminded me of downtown L.A. Very Latino--I blended in just fine when I was in NYC for pride of 1999--loved it.

3. I made the JH Pride parade/fiesta
one of those years . It was very colorful. There was a contingent of Irish Gays, I got my picture with them
