Here's a typical dumb fuck comment I just heard at work:
Me: "There's a great sign in my neighborhood that reads: I want my country back" Freeper who happend to be walking by: "Why do you want it back if you're going to let the French run it?" Me: "What do the French have to do with it?" Freeper: Global Test!?"
11. Yes, but isn't that an argument against shrub's unilateralism?
Seems like the freeps are arguing against themselves...I'm still confused sorry.
Is the above exchange with the freeper one of those times when you're arguing with someone and they say something so utterly stupid and counter to their own argument that you have to check yourself and make sure you haven't gone mad?
But didn't hear the entire thing. So he focused on when Kerry said something about a global test during the debates, and is making the worst out of it. Kerry meant he'd exhaust diplomatic means to solving problems, with the help of our allies. Bush is telling people that Kerry wants to let everyone else run our country. He's just a little jack ass with selective hearing.
13. I thought the global test was bush's spin on Kerry's answer for
seeking an international coalition before making a pre-emptive strike.
There are new ads out saying Kerry would weaken US security because he would take time to get other countries lined up. Basically the ads lie about Kerry's stance.
The "global test" in Kerry answer had nothing to do with foreign countries!!! Read the transcript. It deals with a comprehensive test WITHIN the country.
From my understanding the 'Global Test' had to do with providing a credible reason to the world community for the US to take unilateral action. It has nothing to do with 'seeking permission' from foreign nations, as the Bushies would like to assert. Correct me if I am wrong.
This is in contrast to the Repukes blowing up nation after nation at the touch of a button, solely at their discretion.
