Mercury is a powerful neurotoxin that can cause learning disabilities, developmental delays, and problems with fine motor coordination. Mercury can also affect multiple organ systems, including the heart, immune system, and the nervous system over a lifetime.

6. I'mnot sure, when I was a little curious kid a long time ago, I thought it
Edited on Sun Oct-03-04 07:08 PM by Marianne
was fun to break thermometers and with my fingers, spread the mercury all over a nickle to make it shiney

I have not bought any fish for a long long time, and living here in Maine, fresh fish was always fresh and delicious and much enjoyed. We once ate fish at least twice a week not to mention shrimp that we bought in season and froze.

Now I look at the fish in the supermarket and I am turned off becaue of the mercury warnings.

9. I dunno about that
Because I'd actually accept a free Chevrolet, and you'd have to pay me to take a Mercury.
