Anyone else love the film "Iron Jawed Angels"?

It was on HBO a few months ago. The parade scene with the Warrior Goddess is one of the most uplifting scenes ever filmed, imho.

We honor those brave women when we use the right to vote they so bravely fought for. Thank you, Alice Paul, Lucy Burns and every woman who suffered so that I could vote the bushwacker OUT!!! :)

2. Yes it was one of the greatest from HBO

I learned so much from this movie --Just another example of our missing history we don't get taught in school

4. The force feeding ... the attempt

to label Alice Paul as insane ... I had no idea until I watched this what we had to do to get the most basic right of citizenship.

You're sooooo right about missing history!

3. I want to see it...and buy it for friends and...and...and I can't find it!

We only got cable in July after 4 years without it. (After the election, we'll go back to our cable-less state... maybe a sat dish... maybe not.)

I keep hoping HBO will re-run it on one of their bazillion HBO stations... but not so far.

5. They're showing it on the HBO Signature channels

this month, but you don't get that unless you pay them a freakin fortune for cable.
