11. i was reluctant to buy it

ever since i heard the news that he was redoing the whole thing...i thought oh great, he's going to ruin the legend that is/was Smile.

i've been listening to the bootlegs for years and it is one of my favorite albums ever.

but my dad picked it up and recommended i listen to it...so i downloaded a couple tracks...

i am buying it as soon as i get paid tomorrow. he does a fantastic job with it and does not denigrate it's legendary status in any way.

i thought the original version could not be topped...i suppose all the new technology and sound quality helps out with that a little bit...but damn, it knocks me off my feet and sets the mood for the rest of the album perfectly.

Sounds. That was one of the biggest flaws with Pet Sounds IMO. This is one of the most well rounded albums I've ever heard. The segways and revisitation of themes is just stelar
