12. I worked at a lighter than a truck load company in college

Mistakes happen all the time. Someone doesn't pay attention and they bust a banding wiring and the tires are loose for simplicities sake the receiving party says "No take those back" and gets a new pallet of tires (in this case) from the manufacturer. The Receiving party gets what they paid for and the cost of the new shipment is worked out between the manufacturer and the shipper. Usually shipped for free and the manufacturer takes the original order back, sometimes they don't and the order (in parts) ends up at the discount place.

8. I have to get my car inspected tomorrow

I took it in for an oil change yesterday (they couldn't inspect it) and the manager told me I would almost certainly have to replace the front two so at $40 a pop (+25% off) I figured hell get four.
