I am SICK, I tell you, SICK of the state of entertainment today.

No one's got the balls to create a New and Original Work. Let's see...

* The Producers: a musical based on a movie
* Chitty Chitty Bang Bang: a musical based on a movie
* The Music Man: a musical based on a movie which was itself based on a musical
* Movin' Out: a musical based on the songs of Billy Joel
* Mamma Mia: a musical based on the songs of Abba

I swear I'm gonna put an end to this shit and either do Springtime for Hitler as a standalone musical, "Assface," a musical based on the songs of GG Allin, "Yank My Doodle," a musical based on the songs of John Valby, or "A Little Green Rosetta," a musical based on the songs of Frank Zappa.

I figure that the lilting, dulcet tones of GG Allin's "I Kill Everything I Fuck" will put an end to this shit once and for all.

The movie came out the next year. God, did I hate it. It bore only a passing resemblance to the book.
