Was I displaying a sign "nightmare customers welcome"?
Today I had two.

The first was a very pregnant woman who bought a sheet of particle board for some damn thing. So far no problem. But while two of us were loading the board on top of her SUV, she stood there and smoked three cigarettes right down to the filters. I figure the kid will probably weigh about a pound and a half and his first word will be "camel." (To which mom and dad will go "ah, does widdle junior see a camel?" and the kid will go "no, dammit, give me a fucking Camel! You bastards hide the smokes, can't you see I really need one?")

The other guy I ran into at lunchtime. This customer entered the breakroom and started accosting all of the associates. "Are you saved?" I didn't know the guy was a customer until I called the manager, who asked me to "detain" the gentleman until we could get loss prevention over there to lock this guy up for criminal trespass. Apparently the last time I had a day off this jerk stopped so many people asking them if they were saved and damning to hell all who weren't that customers started abandoning carts and leaving.

2. I had a delivery the other day and just inside the office door they
had a pretty vase, and on it was a small note that said "ashes of problem patients". I thought that was funny.

3. The brightside - you got to see one of the Saved Loonies locked-up.
I mean, think about it - for the rest of your life, when you see one, you can sorta lean back, eye 'em a bit, and think what they'd look like behind bars. 'Course, that doesn't bode well for their prospective cell-mates, does it?

5. are you going to ban that guy from entering your store?
From what you told us, it sounds like he is interfering with your employer's business. I would think you'd have a legitimate case for barring him from entering the premises permanently.

7. Yes, he can no longer shop at Home Depot
And check THIS shit out! Home Depot is in the process of putting $4 billion into technology upgrades. Most of it's stuff that is helpful to you--we've got a new kitchen design program, the self-checkouts, the garage-design module for our Outdoor Projects Design system, and a lot more brands in the Millwork Quoting System.

One thing that helps US out is something the honest customer will never see: When we bust someone for shoplifting, criminal trespass, fraudulent returns or whatever, our loss prevention associate takes a digital photo of them and uploads it to a centralized Loss Prevention System. If this person is ever caught in any of our stores, we can use this system to help upgrade them to criminal trespass as well as whatever he did. We've already frog-marched six or seven people who were busted in other stores in the Carolinas who came here to do the same shit.

6. Smoking Causes Low Birth Weight?
No wonder my mom smoked. I was 8.8 lbs; my brother was 10.5 lbs. Of course, that was in the 60s, when fewer things were bad for you.
