1. I had never heard this until I watched this show.
Some of them don't deserve the distinction, like the 4 non-Blondes song, that rocked.

4. When I saw it months ago...
We had a ball here at DU, especially when Toby Keith's barf-o-rama "Courtesy Of The Red White And Blue" hit #20. Some of the tunes though I like, if only because I laugh my head off at them, like "I'm Too Sexy."

2. Another VH1 "remember that" program with unfunny cameo
guests, most of which have I never heard of, making witty remarks about the song, filmed in the hip choppy cut technique. Snooooooooozzzzzzzzz

5. Aren't those cameos dreadful???
Who writes that shit? They're usually like c-grade "I really need to pay my rent" sorta celebrities. But nonetheless I am watching the show as we speak. What will #37 be?????

8. these people are making serious dough doing these shows
I bet it beats the hell out of stand up. I'm seeing some of the people from last season's Punked on them too. Whitney Cummings is milking these shows for all their worth. She's pretty funny too.

They did a show on George Michael, and I can't believe I did not know he was gay. I can't believe it, that is how innocent culture was right before Madonna. And of course I never guessed about Queen back then either.

10. George Michael is gay????
What? No way! The guy who wrote "Blue" and "Edge of Heaven" is gay? Not that there's anything wrong with that... :wow:

11. When I saw him on VH-1 retro shows running around in what we
southerners call "nut-cutters" (little tiny Richard Simmons shorts) I couldn't believe it when I realized I never even guessed. It's so obvious now. And I'm gay, but back then I was pre-pubescent, and then later when he came out with "Father Figure" and "Faith" I was so in love with him.
