burnt popcorn.

At least twice a week at every job I've had, some dumbfuck would put a bag of microwave popcorn in, turn it on, and walk away. I wanted to strangle those idiots. The smoke alarm is NOT the signal that your popcorn is done.

17. My ex almost ruined the microwave one time.
I was at work (working swing shift) and he wanted some popcorn. Well, he though that maybe instead of READING the instructions OR pressing the button on the oven that said POPCORN he's make sure it was good and done and set it for FIVE minutes.

Thank god he was cute and great in bed.

8. Brocholli (overcooked)
I had a friend who used to eat overcooked brocholli every day for lunch that she cooked in her office. It would smell up the entire floor. Then she mixed it with couscous.

I love brocholli, but I don't overcook it.

15. Nothing worse than fish.
I don't mean canned tuna, but the kind they have to reheat in the microwave. It stinks up the whole office area then the stink goes wherever the person goes! I like fish but never bring it to work. It should be banned from the workplace!

31. Beat me to it
Anything that's put in a hole in the ground to rot for a few months can't be smelling pretty.

I work at a college with a fair number of Korean students, many who bring lunch from home. After trying to eat a piece of lemon chiffon cake while the smell of kimchi was drifting over from the next table, I've learned to be really careful about where I sit in the cafeteria.

27. Miracle Whip sandwiches
eaten with an open mouth. Used to have a co-worker who would eat these disgusting things. Mouth open, loud chewing and mashing noises, the sickly scent of Miracle Whip perfuming the air.

Well, so much for my appetite!
