My buddy is off to Iraq...
I have a buddy online who I've gotten to know very well whose name is Adam. He just informed me that he has been ordered to go to Iraq soon. He also informed me that all the Florida units of the National Guard have all been in Iraq at least once so far (and mind you all: National Guards are supposed to be a domestic branch of the military, meaning they're not supposed to go out of the country to fight in any foreign wars...but Shrubya has been desperate for soldiers). So, whoever says a draft WILL NOT be reinstated are out of their minds! I mean, Shrubya is shipping off our own National Guard over there for crissakes! If you friggen love our military and want to HELP THEM, vote for Kerry!!! I've seriously had enough of these f***ing whackjob Repukes prancing around with their American flags with a big grin and their static "I'm proud to be an American! Support yer troops! I love our troops, but hell! I will NOT ship MY daughter or son to war! That's just cerrzy!" You know, the REAL patriots are us DEMOCRATS! We want our troops to be safe at home! We don't want them fighting this non-sense Shrubya war! What are they fighting for?!? And if I hear another Repuke say "well, we're fightin' for Iraqi Freedom! Hyuk hyuk!" I will CRACK! (Already have....) What the hell happened to the primary objective of capturing Osama Bin Laden?!? What now? He's just free to nance around somewhere in the middle east and motivate more terrorists to invade Iraq and kill MORE of our soldiers?!? *fuming mad*

Anyways, Adam is not happy about it, neither am I. I'll now have three friends in Iraq...two I haven't heard from in a while and they've been there since the start of the Iraq War.

It sure is a powerful thing for a soldier like Adam to point blank say "Bush-no comment...vote for Kerry!" He's an active soldier on his way to Iraq with a plea to you and me and all those who care about their military personnel to VOTE FOR KERRY!

So, support your troops-VOTE FOR KERRY-coming straight from a true-blue American soldier on his way to Iraq... :(

1. word...
the only poll I've seen for active duty soldiers show support Bush at like 90%, but that was only one poll. I'd like to believe that the real numbers are alot different, but the two guys I've encountered online who have served in Iraq are both extremely zealous republicans.

They'll tell you what you want to hear, but, their hearts belong to Bush-hole.

5. so wrong...

I personally know two of the four people in the military and they are Democrats (we all registered to vote together and later showed off our voter cards). So, no, all soldiers' hearts do not belong to Shrubya.

Oh! And I saw a car today parked in the garage I park at for college and they are U.S. Air Force and had a Kerry-Edwards sticker plastered on their car. I wouldn't be too quick to judge that all soldiers' hearts belong to Shrubya.

4. polls...
are dumb! Since the last presidential election, I've never trusted polls. I know four active military personnel who are avidly anti-Bush...but being that the Patriot Act is so f***ed up, they can't voice out their opinion or it may be considered treasonous. So, of course "90%" of soldiers were polled and said they were Republican...because we have a Republican government now and there's nothing wrong with saying you're a Republican. But sh**! If one of them says they're a Democrat, watch out because Bush will have the MPs all over whoever says they're anti-Bush. They would be considered a "TERRORIST!" (I'm sort of referring to anti-Bush protestors who were arrested and the poor woman who was taken out of the RNC for asking a legitimate question that Laura couldn't answer)...
