O.K., My Plans for the 1st Debate

1) I wish for a KNOCK-OUT within the first 15 minutes, but then, I'm old enough to know I can't have everything.

2) It's an at-home night, but I am going to bring a bottle of NOT-beer home, and

3) I'm going to sit, sulk, yell, and otherwise emote ove whatEVER happens.

1. Will undecided's be watching?

We have the 'base' shored up, but what about those unsure or teetering? We need to get the message out to them - "we can do better with Kerry!".

Kerry may not be perfect, but damn folks - he is better than * by a country mile.

It will be most interesting to see how the press handles the debates the morning after. Wonder who will be the guest speakers on all those morning talk shows, et al?

4. Interesting Question

What do people watch? I hardly see TV. Spending most my time working, and when I am not at work I work on the computer from home. Heck, I have never watched an episode of that one show, csi, or anything else on TV (unless it is columbo, which I have on my DVR).

I only have TV for the daughter and wife mostly, so I am not sure who else will be covering the debates the morning after. I know more about spongebob than I do what it on network TV :)

3. I'll miss the debate due to work

So I'll be expecting a full report from my fellow DUers. I'm sure you all will not disappoint and that they'll be at least 25 threads on the subject when I get home that night.

5. Where are they debating? And who's moderating?

And is it true that the questions are all being pre-approved by Shrubbie McAwolFuckKnocker beforehand?

It's on Thursday night, right?
