Just bought it a couple days ago and I love it. The title song is about the Iraq war. A couple other good songs on it are Sugar-Sugar (In my life) and Honey Do.

According to the liner notes Fogerty plays most of the guitars on the album. The guy's quite a picker. This is an album I highly recommend getting.

Oh and here are the lyrics to Deja Vu (All over again)

Did you here 'em talkin' 'bout it on the radio
Did you try to read the writing on the wall
Did that voice inside you say I've heard it all before
It's like Deja Vu all over again

Day by day I hear the voices rising
Started with a whisper like it did before
Day by day we count the dead and dying
Ship the bodies home while the networks all keep score

Did you hear 'em talkin' 'bout it on the radio
Could your eyes believe the writing on the wall
Did that voice inside you say I've heard it all before
It's like Deja Vu all over again

One by one I see the old ghosts rising
Stumblin' 'cross Big Muddy
Where the light gets dim
Day by day another Momma's crying
She's lost her precious child
To a war that has no end

Did you hear 'em talkin' 'bout it on the radio
Did you stop to read the writing at the wall
Did that voice inside you say
I've seen this all before
It's like Deja Vu all over again
It's like Deja Vu all over again

2. I'll get it
But fuck, I wish he had a better name for that one song than "Sugar Sugar (In My Life)", because it sounds too much like the Archies when I read it...

3. I agree
Maybe that's why he added the paranthesis around "In my life".

4. I liked Blue Moon Swamp
One of the best concerts I have ever seen too. I hope this is good.

5. Keep an eye on A&E; they seem to be running his By Request episode a lot

It first ran last Friday night, I believe. Mostly performing old CCR tunes, especially from Cosmo's Factory, but he also did "The Old Man Down the Road" and at least one from the new album ("Sugar Sugar"; I did not react well to the title either).

6. I've got it, and I'll have to give it a "C" unfortunately
just a matter of personal taste, is all.

Compared to Steve Earle's "revolution" the feeling is just not there. There's no hard edge, no bite, no rocking 'hell ya'. the comparison may be unfair, 'cuz earle opens up with no holds barred, and as an artist and a man and a father, Fogerty is in another place.

But there is no accounting for taste in anyones music, including mine. he questioned the war, so i picked up the disc.
