Vijay won his 8th tournament of the year today, the 84 Lumber Classic in Pennsylvania. He also established a new single-season record for earnings on the PGA Tour.

Just a disclaimer - I'm not posting this because I'm a Vijay fan. This is just pretty big golf news.

2. Unbelievable stretch since August
Phenomenal consistency, especially for someone in his 40s. Can't say I remember anything like this from someone that age. It's not Tiger 2000 but better than anything else in recent years. And they said on ESPN that Vijay still has six events remaining. He coulp possibly notch double digit victories.
