Say a typical good amusement park like a Six Flags.

I should think it must be a shitload of money. But I'm curious how much of a shitload. And wondering if it might even get to the level of a metric fuckload.

1. Don't know, but
maybe not as much as you'd think. After all, there's that fine print on the back of your ticket.

3. Like was said...
next time you go, check the back of your ticket. It includes a waiver of liability.

4. waiver or no, I bet they still pay a shitload
because waivers never apply to malfeasance or shoddy maintenance or other accidents or acts of God.

Contrary to popular belief, when you, as a consumer, sign a waiver that really doesn't utterly and perfectly indemnify the place forcing you to signthe waiver. If it can be shown that the company failed, you can still sue, no matter what waiver you've signed.
