Former 'Sex' Star Cynthia Nixon In Same-Sex Relationship
The outrageous thing about the rumors about Cynthia Nixon's apparent "coming out" is not that it is a celebrity that supposedly turned lesbian, but that this 'news' story was actually the COVER STORY on the New York Daily News. America is in the midst of a presidential campaign, a war, and economic instability and we put a story like this on Page 1?? What's wrong with this picture?

... it is kinda funny that I went to school with a girl named Cynthia Nixon who also happened to be a lesbian.

What useful purpose does it have for the media to concentrate on someone's adult, consensual relationship with another adult and that has absolutely no bloody effect on anyone else?

Why waste our time!

(just a rant due to my frustration with all the media attention on trivia)
