8. The conveyor belt sidewalks are in most airports, and

there's a HUGE practical problem with flying cars: traffic control.

Imagine bumper cars flying dozens of feet off the ground. Even airplanes, which exist in much smaller numbers than cars, need air traffic controllers to prevent them from crashing into each other or trying to land in the same place at the same time.
