I have, and I should have just done it a few minutes ago. However, I went to the buffet because the salad bar sucked me in. No symptoms yet, but I wouldn't be shocked.

1. Yes.
I've also left after seeing their sanitation grade...

5. I try to always check out the back-alley before eating at a place
Especially with Chinese restaurants. A clean dumpster and back-door area is a good sign that the restaurant cares about staying sanitary.

6. Yes-and I have gotten sick before too
I travel for business a lot and have been forced out of necessity to eat at some places that don't conform to cleanliness standards. At local places, I have seen roaches, mice and flies (I mean INFESTATION of flies).

I was sitting at a chic-chic cafe on Newbury Street in Boston one night enjoying dinner when two rats came scurrying across the patio within inches of my table. Boston has to be the rat capital of the US-I think it's because it's practically surrounded by water and built on marshland.

7. If I am willing to sit on their toilet, the food sucks.
That's the cardinal rule.
