When I lived in Israel in the 70's, we got our best rock 'n roll from an illegal radio transmitting ship in international waters which beamed music and messages of peace into Israel by Israeli Abie Nathan. I used to frequent the sidewalk cafes of Tel Aviv with many Israeli peace activists. But that was before the wholesale bulldozing of homes and orchards to make way for illegal settlers. I used to be able to drive all over the West Bank and Gaza with my yellow Jewish license plates and be invited into Arab homes for coffee and mint tea. Now I wouldn't be allowed there any longer by the IDF.
