but I think we share the same kinds of issues, both living in Freeperville! It sounds pretty idyllic to me. I have often felt that DU is a real community, with a range of views, but with more agreement than discord. There's a lot of kindness here, and camaraderie, which would be necessary in any real community. There's also a wide range of talents, from air traffic controllers to writers to physicists. I think it could work. But how would you keep the freepers out, as on DU? Would this be a gated community? This strikes me as something most liberals would hate.:shrug:

but there are harsh punishments for freeping -

1. They are put out in the Town Square in stocks with "freeper" written on their forehead. Tomatos and other such projectiles will be provided.
2. They have to go around and clean up Yak poo in the streets at night for no pay at all
3. They have to run in the "running of the moderators" (see above)
4. They will have to attend insurance seminars twice a day for as long as we see fit

and, so on. I can't think of anything else right now, but that's things we could do....
