Prostitute Girls Soccer Team Banned From Tournament

A GUATEMALA soccer team made up of prostitutes cried foul after being ejected from a tournament because of their profession.

"Just for being prostitutes, society marginalises us, and we want to exercise our rights as women and as mothers," said the team captain, Valeria, who did not give her last name.

Her team, the Stars of the Line, lost 5-2 to the Blue Devils, fielded by an exclusive girls' school in the Guatemalan capital, and were ejected from the tournament after Monday's game.

Officials cited the use of foul language from the team's fans as the reason.

The Stars of the Line take their team name from Guatemala City's red-light district, called the Train Line, because it faces the city's railway line.

Hate to be serious, but no truer words have been spoken.

That is the sole reason the Green River killer wasn't caught for 20 years. Because they were 'hos' no one gave a damn. I read a police comment in an article where a cop said that "some prostitute's bones" had been found by the river. That phrase has stuck in my head since...you don't ever read about "some mailman's bones" or "some accountant's bones" showing up in an alley.

It's weird how if the vic is a prostitute that is how they are referred to in articles anyway, as if, well they are a prostitute, so they DESERVED to be assaulted, raped, or murdered. It's called a victimless crime, and I don't think it is because no one is hurt. I think they mean that there is nothing, including murder, that you can do to a prostitute that he/she doesn't "have coming" by virtue of their profession. And it is sex, of all things, they practice...that supposedly beautiful, holy experience.
