Inspired by KKKarl's comment about voters not finding it difficult to dislike Dumbyass, but finding it difficult to like Kerry...

Here's the fantasy scenario: The US has had 4 disastrous years led by President Zell Miller, who's running against former moderate republican congresswoman Connie Morella. Morella's got a reputation for listening to her constituents and voting her conscience rather than her party; but she's relatively unknown outside her state.

Which would you vote for if you only had those two choices?

I felt kind of bad after she lost the last election. I know we needed the seat; but she always impressed me as being one of those rare politicians who genuinely care about the people they serve.

I'd like to see her give Ehrlich a run for his money.

Connie Morella's always been more of a moderate, so if idelogy is the question, I'd pick her over Raving Lunatic Zell any day.
