2. A tad south ... New York
Maybe I'll actually get some sleep now. Insomnia ... what a drag. At least I don't have to work until Monday.

been raining in NE-PA since spring, haven't gone more than 3 days in a row without rain....

sick of the rain!

A low-pressure front from the west, met up with IVAN and combined right over us -- been raining since yesterday morning, still raining and expected to continue raining until late today (possibly into Sunday as it has/was stalled)

enough of the rain already

Our grapes did crappy - too much rain. Tomatoes are pathetic - too much rain and not enough sun, beans and peas rotted - too much rain, carrots are turning into soup in the ground - too much rain. Kitchen floor has been one big mud track as the dogs (and us too) enter the house from TOO MUCH RAIN!

Our area has been basically under a flood advisory/watch/warning since spring.

Meanwhile, I've been in major to extreme pain -- rain kicks my fibro-myalgia into high gear. Usually the summers are warmer and dryer so I get some relief. But if all this rain is any indication -- we are in for a doozy of a winter and I'll be walking around like Quasimoto

If I could figure out how to "capture" the rain and send it out the western states that are in a drought I could make a few billion dollars. Would a giant fan work? or perhaps a extremely large pumping system?
