My hubby.......I think I'll keep him!
My husband (a fellow DUer) just finsished walking an area of our precinct, selling yard signs for Kerry and talking to voters face to face. He was yelled at by a repuke scum who threatened him not to steal his * yard signs "if he puts them up." He just answered, "I wouldn't do that", and walked away. Of course, he was very angry, and would have liked to have said, "Republicans are the ones that steal things...like elections." But he was representing Kerry, and he kept his cool.

Lately, he's been trying to cheer me up (I've been a little down about the election, although I try to hide it), by putting little pictures of Kerry everywhere. He inserted a picture of himself into a group photo of Kerry, Clinton, and Carter, and framed it. Awww...he's so great! And he's working his heart out for this election.

1. Great - you didn't say where you live
but, here it is illegal to play around with yard signs. Of course, noone ever does anything about it.

I have a Kerry bumper sticker, but no yard sign yet - need one!

4. It's too bad, but

we don't live in a swing state. However, we act like we do because NOTHING can be taken for granted in this election. We also want Kerry to win the popular vote by as large a margin as possible!:) Edited to add: yard signs should be available from your precinct captain. Find out who she or he is by calling the local chapter of your Dem party. Also, we ordered one from JohnKerry.com

3. How sweet!
Thanks, but it's our pleasure to do it. We've learned so much and met so many great, like-minded people as we've walked our precinct and gone to our local Dem meetings. At least we feel that we've done everything we can, (and we're still not done) to prevent * from raping our country for another four years. I'm sure you've done a lot too, but if anyone needs a little push...get out there and get involved. You'll feel much better!:)
