Any Babylon 5 fans Here?
I was going through old text files and i ran across these quotes from the show

"The very powerful, and the very stupid, have one thing in common. They never adjust their views to fit the facts, they adjust the facts to fit their views. Which can be quite uncomfortable...if you happen to be one of the facts that needs adjusting."
—The Doctor (played by the late richard biggs)

"Only an idiot would fight a war on two fronts. Only the heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Idiots would fight a war on twelve fronts."
—Ambassador Londo Mollari

"The avalanche has begun. It is too late for the pebbles to vote."
—Ambassador Kosh

parallels between B5 and the Bush Administration.

3. wouldn't call me a fan
But I own the DVDs. 1984 is cited a little too obviously IMHO (not in your quotes, just for the general Earth story arc).

6. My Dad said, "Never start a fight
but be darned sure you finish it." That was a quote from Capt. Sheridan. I used to think it was what America believed in.

10. garibaldi, jerry doyle
is also repub.

very disappointing.

great show, bought the first 4 seasons, almost through with 4, ready to get year 5.

in my opinion, the best sci-fi show ever made. the scope is truly epic.

nothing like finding out who god (the first one) is, and seeing the earth being swallowed up when the sun goes nova.

sort of puts things into perspective.

11. Yes! Loved that show.
I'm waiting eagerly for whatever it is Joe Straczynski has occasionally hinted about on Usenet. Something on the big screen, and I think (but I may be misremembering) that he's hinted it will be in the B5 universe.

18. Nice site
jms was on GEnie in the wonderful old days (sigh, sob, sniff, I still miss Genie). He talked on there about his adventures trying to bring to reality this great TV series, which at the time he referred to only as That Which Must Not Be Named.

So a bunch of us were primed for it when it started. I can honestly say I was hooked on B5 even before I knew what it was called.

My sig line is G'Kar quoting the book of G’Quon in the 4th season. Michael Straczynski is a great story writers.

How creepy is that?
Does he root for Morden?
Bester?
Rule by chaos, the BFEE Shadows.
Ms. Calico and I used this analogy in 2000 when the coup began.
